Who we are
Therapeutic Innovations is dedicated to developing medical interventions for emerging economies without compromising on quality. We hope that someday all children across the global will have access to life saving and affordable medical technology.
Our story
The idea to reinvent medical devices and develop other novel interventions was born after the company’s co-founder and CEO, Solomon, visited neonatal wards in public hospitals in Ghana (west Africa). During his visit he was baffled by the lack of bCPAPs available to clinicians to treat babies, and the lack of a robust clinical protocol to effectively use the few devices they did have. This served as the impetus to probe deeper and conduct initial market research within many other hospitals, interviewing medical professionals around the country. The data collected formed the bedrock of what would eventually become Therapeutic Innovations, with the inception of the Airbaby bCPAP and clinical capacity building infrastructure, as the initial products.
